Blaming Facebook for fake news is like blaming recycled paper for the bad comic that's printed on it.
Why ask Mark Zuckerberg to prevent lies from reaching our eyes? Have we lost the skill to think for ourselves? Do we lack the time to enter a question in the Google search bar?
No of course not. We simply seek a scapegoat for our own incompetence to distinguish fears from facts.

A dress exchange (a #ShortStory)
Her appearance was even more beautiful than her name. When she spoke others were quiet.
Everything she did she did with conviction. And not just because it was her job.
For a moment he felt like the little boy he had been in school: pen in hand, sheet of paper in front of him and getting annoyed whenever anyone dared interrupt the teacher. He simply loved to hear her speak.
Not so much for what she had to say (although the information was useful enough) but for the way she said it. The tone of her voice, the movement of her hands and lips...
At the end of the evening he thanked her for her words and discovered they were of the same blood.
His reward was great:
Not only did he get her e-mail address but also her phone number.
Perhaps before long they would indulge in a dress exchange.

Could Muhammad Ali be white?
The originally white character Perry White (...) is portrayed by a black actor in Superman vs Batman. Same goes for Johnny 'The Human Torch' Storm, Shield's Nick Fury and even for Harry Potter's Hermione who was played by a black young lady in the stage play. Is it a bad thing, that a originally white character is played by someone with a dark skin? Of course not!
But imagine the controverse when a movie about Muhammad Ali lets the audience see him as a white dude. Could that ever be happening?
