Last week we visited the Cruquiusmuseum, a very old pumping station: one of the ways the Dutch gained land from water:

Wednesday we were in the coastal town Scheveningen, to visit a friend who runs the local carousel:

  1. Lived in Scheveningen at the end of the 70ties (I believe for about 1 1/2 years)in a huge old house.
When opening the back door one stood at the beach. Unfortunately, these houses have long been gone and replaced by apartment building:(

  2. Great shots for the day, Terrence, in spite of the grumpy, gray skies!! They do seem to be everywhere this time of year!! Seattle is covered with them right now, promising a wet weekend!! Hope you have a great weekend regardless of the weather!!

  3. Great series, Terrence! I really love the shot thru the window. And the Carousel brings back memories of our trips to the beach with my son. Happy Skywatching!
