A Pawn entering the Room (a #CirclePoem)

A pawn entering the room
is like a king without a crown,
a witch without a broom,
going up instead of down

The queen knows
it's not all black and white,
that the bishop is really grey
and so is the knight
when it's too dark to see
and too silent to hear

I am you and you are me,
a new door opens and we agree
it's
a pawn entering the room
