Distribution of wealth

'There's not enough money or food in the world to provide for everyone!'

Yes there is. It's just a matter of distribution. Most western people throw away 30 percent of all food they buy. Before that 30 percent gets destroyed before it reaches the supermarket. Just because the apple has spots or the cucumber is not straight enough or the orange is not completely orange...

Just 62 (no, not 62,000. Just 62) people have more money (click) than half the world's population. Of course these 62 have worked very hard to accumulate their wealth but that's not the point. Point is it is simply not true that the harder you work, the more money you make. Some kid picking garbage for 16 hours a day for seven days a week would be richer than Jeff Bezos.

Above graph tells us it's a simple fact the rich are getting richter. Soon just one person will have half of all the money in the world. And then what?

'One person is working really hard just to get by. The other is a millionaire.'
