Can we end world hunger? Short answer: yes.

People are starving. And that's a bad thing. There's more than enough food to feed every single person on this planet. And that's a good thing. People can't afford to buy food and therefore starve to death. And that's a bad thing. The good thing is that something can be done about that. The bad thing is that apparently ALL governments prefer to spend money on weapons in stead of on people. As The Donald would say: sad.

In my humble opinion the biggest problem here is greed.

Why is it so funny to make fun of another person's handicap?

Why is it so funny to make fun of another person's handicap?

It is usually done by bullies. Like Donald Trump. Remember this?

Now, Donald Trump is known for making fun of people. Like people who think he is serving their best interests. A close friend of his is former UKIP frontman Nigel Farage. Here they are standing in front of golden doors. Just before stating they want to tax millionairs more. Yes, they are lying. Again.

But why is it considered a handicap when you're not like most others? Well, most others get very uncomfortable thinking of being different. That's why they laugh. It's really - originally - not because they find it amusing but a show of strength: 'Look how big and sharp my teeth are. I eat raw meat with those, you know. So you should be no problem, should you wish to fight.'

Back in ye'ole days you had to be strong - or at least to be able to pretend to be strong - because that was the only way to survive. These days we have guns. And supermarkets. On top of that we developed another skill to make us live another day: cleverness. But soms still find it enough to (pretend to) be strong.

Basically: people who make fun of other people because of their different appearance are simply scared sh*itless.

So no, having OCD is NOT funny. It really isn't. And no, you don't have OCD but are simply annoyed at things being not the way you want them to be. Listen to this guy:

Robots are stealing our jobs

Every year around 98,000 people die of medical mistakes that could be easily prevented. In America alone! So forget terrorists. When it comes down to killing civilians doctors and nurses do a much better job. Thing is - although some find it hard to believe - doctors and nurses are people. People get tired, cranky, distracted. In short: people make mistakes.

Wouldn't it be great if people could be taken out of the equation when it concerns other people's lives? Good news! Remember Watson, the IBM computer that won Jeopardy? A similar computer program can be used for medical diagnostics, reducing the chance for medical errors almost to zero. So what are we waiting for? Two things: people to stop being afraid of computers and people to stop being afraid of losing their jobs. Of course it is up to us what we do with our newly acquired spare time. We may claim we would like more free time. But do we really?

What is often not considered is that people who don't make money working in a job, don't spend money so replacing people by computers and algorithms is not really that good for the economy. A possible solution: a basic income for everyone! As a bonus: out of two working parents, now one can stay at home to actually raise the kids and  leave a job opening for someone else to take.

Here's a glimpse of our possible future:
