A Lifetime (a #poem)
Loud witnesses of the night before
told the story of how strangers met,
danced to the same beat
and went to bed with tired feet
They enjoyed the night
although it was the afternoon,
shared a drink
and knew it would be over soon
but the memory would last
a lifetime
