Our own lability (a #poem)

Do Chinese get American take out?
Do the Dutch themselves 'go Dutch'
and what do the French call 'French kissing'?

Borders shift
as frequently as the meaning
of words like 'respect' and 'woke'
and a millionaire
with more debt than assets
is not called broke

There is no limit to human stupidity
We have lost all credibility
and can only laugh
at our own lability

Being 'anti-woke' is not something new. The nazis were too.

Is someone who acts like a fascist actually a fascist? Some may agree while others disagree. But let me ask you: would you like to live in a world in which people who are not white, heterosexual and 'christian' are margenalized or even prosecuted?

Here's the chart enlarged:

The old gothic/German handwriting is hard to read for people in our days; it basically depicts who the nazis saw as 'Untermench'. Red: communists and other anti-fascists; Green: criminals; people of colour: prostitutes, alcoholics and other 'scum of the earth'; Purple: Jehovah's Witnesses and others 'who don't believe in Jesus in the right way'; Brown: gypsies, Romas and other 'travelers'; Pink: homosexuals. Blue: Immigrants. But not always the white ones.

Interestingly enough the nazis hated exactly the same groups of people (click) that are hated by people who are proudly 'anti-woke'. 🤔

Interesting how the nazis hated homosexuals but gladly used them for their own s3xual pleasures (click). A bit hypocritical if you ask me. Those nazis remind me of a group of people who claim to be very anti s3x offenses but were caught being s3x offenders (click) themselves. Interestingly, not so long ago, 26 Republican ''christians' voted against (click) a bill clamping down on child sex abuse.

Remarkable behaviour for people who think every non-heterosexual person is 'a groomer'. It almost makes you suspicious of people who shout the loudest they are fiercely against s3xual offenses, especially when aimed at children.

Why is it bad to want every group to live peacefully together? In other words: why is it bad to be 'woke'?

True colours (a #poem)

A lot of people would have hated Frederick Austerlitz for 'touching our women!' but loved Fred Astaire for dancing with them.

People like Nimarata, Rafael and a guy of Scottish and German descent tell others they are not welcome in 'their' country
and millions cheer them on.

Using an invention of a Syrian refugee they forgot to be humans
and call themselves Christians

On their heads a Made in China baseball cap they scream they are proud to be stupid

While ruining life for millions of others, showing their mothers
all their true colours

Do Republicans want more or less government rules?

Republicans want a smaller government and less rules, right?

Republicans want more rules on:

-Teaching CRT
-Abortion
-Books in classrooms
-Marriage
-Voting
-Equal rights
-Healthcare
-Cannabis
-Minimum wage
-Gender identity
-Migration
-Homelessness
-Unemployment benefits
-Crime
-Teaching science

Here's a list (click) of what Republicans want to ban from classrooms.

They want less rules on:

-Guns
-Millionaires
-Religion. But only on christianity
-Ethical conduct
-Child marriage
-Corporal punishment

Why do Republicans want the government to implement more and more rules every single week? For a party that claims to be pro a smaller government, their actions (click) say they love a big government.

They are against sexualising children but love child beauty pageants. And for it to be legal to marry your cousin. If you ever wondered why so many Republicans suffer from moodswings and psychosis, now you know.

Is there an explanation for this discrepancy or are Republicans just simply hypocrites?

My beautiful mirror (a #poem)

Tears hide behind a sneer
and wisdom obscured by bad jokes
the morning after.

While coffee is an excuse
and expensive threads
try to distract
from feelings of loss
and despair feigns to be
the one true love
while nothing
is more incomprehensible
or should we say intelligible?

You are the mask
that I am wearing
and therefore
my beautiful mirror

How many Thoughts & Prayers are enough?

When some disaster occurs, how do you know how many thoughts and prayers to send? Is there a pricelist somewhere? Because I couldn't find one, I made one:

One Thought & Prayer for when someone gets shot but not killed, four T's & P's for a wildfire or a school shooting? But of course zero when thousands of people in Sudan are slaughtered in a brutal civil war.

Except when one of them has a US or EU passport of course (doing this so I won't have to write 'is white'). And how many Thoughts & Prayers are the 25,000 people worth who die of hunger Every. Single. Day.?

Very nice that people think of people in need. Perhaps even light a candle and pray for their souls. Perhaps even in church. But be honest: how many lives have ever been saved by Thoughts & Prayers?

Compare that to the number of people saved by doctors, fire fighters, food programs, clean water policies, police officers, teachers, soldiers, mental health workers, volunteers and donations to all those different causes.

Perhaps it's time to change your mind about Thougths & Prayers and finally start actually doing something.

What do you do to help others? Especially from people who call themselves 'christian' I'd like to know: do you call yourself 'christian' on social media and post that you're sending Thoughts & Prayers or are you doing something actually useful to make the world a better place?

If you are sending Thoughts & Prayers (and perhaps a bit more), be like Betty:

In your Dreams (#stoetry)

I like the dark

And the dark likes me

We play 'hide', not 'seek'

Running free

Enclosed by shadows,

hiding in drawers

We are behind that door

or maybe we're that corpse

We love to hear your screams

so, see you tonight

In your dreams

What's the most important for Elon Musk?

The question in the header can easily be answered: the most important thing to Elon Musk is his ego. It's the only thing driving his actions. Just look at what he did with Twitter. First thing he did when he bought it was to reinstate all the accounts that are just as racist and dumb as he is. First that of right wing fake news outlet The Babylon Bee (click), to impress his favourite ex. Just like his fans he loves to make fun of homosexuals, transgenders, Democrats...This utterly shallow and childish way of dealing with their own shortcomings, right wing people call 'humour'. Or 'humor' if they're American.

Every serious question he receives, he answers with nothing more but the 'poop' emoji. How childish can a grown man get? Most children behave in a more mature way than Elon Musk.

Which normal adult thinks that buying a new face and a few companies could gain him actual friends and popularity?

Does he simply have a messiah-complex, wanting to create an 'Ãœber race' (and I don't mean the taxi company/delivery service) or is he just a 6ft1" child?
Just like an unpopular child handing out free candy in kindergarten, Musk likes to call the people that flock around him 'friends': 'Look how populair I am!' Numbers are really, really important to him. So he cheats to get those numbers up.

Why did Musk announce that accounts on Twitt...X can't be blocked (click) anymore? For the sole reason of his ego hurting everytime someone blocks him on the social media platform. So he wants to be the only one of all millions of users who can block accounts. Until one day he is only surrounded by worshippers and all others are removed from his 'bubble'.

Just like the spoiled brat in kindergarten won't be 'friends' anymore with the kids calling him out for the spoiled brat that he is and is only left with worshippers. Who will stop being his 'friends' when he runs out of candy.

Tesla has never ever had a year in which the company turned a profit (Click. If you consider the company is billions of dollars in debt) but because of government handouts and massive bank loans (which he claims to be against),

Musk calls 'his' (he simply bought Tesla with borrowed money it and never actually worked to obtain it) company 'a great succes!' Same goes for SpaceX (click) and most of the other companies he plastered his name on. Without massive loans and government handouts Musk would not be able to keep his companies afloat.

Musk promises a lot but hardly ever delivers. But still his groupies believe in him. In that regard he looks a lot like his hero Donald Trump: all talk and no walk.

Just remember all the hypes he created: Hyperloop (click), Dogecoin (click)
Cybertruck (an electric SUV. Which his fans adore. Although they hate EV's)...without exaggerating, cheating (click. No, this is not about his - alleged - affair with Sergye Brin's wife) and bribing (click. Gov. Brian Sandoval was a lobbyist paid by the mining industry but after a nice chat with Musk turned his back on them and promised handouts to Tesla), Elon Musk would not be able to keep up appearances.

Of course there's some speculation (there always is. Especially when someone is rich* and famous): it seems that a lot of his 'inventions' like the Hyperloop, Cybertruck and of course SpaceX would fare a lot better on Mars than on Earth. So maybe he really ís a visionair, knows this planet is doomed thanks to the fossil fuel industry and wants to move to Mars.

*If you substract his outstanding loans and government handouts, Elon Musk would be far less wealthy than he appears to be, just by looking at his bank statements)

Or maybe it's all just a big bluf to keep feeding his ego and he simply wants to hear people cheer for him when he presents yet another 'world changing' idea.

Of course, I could be proven wrong and one day Musk will start an enterprise that will nót be a failure and helps mankind progress, but I don't see that happening. Do you?

Here's a longread about the entrepeneur (click. From The New Yorker). If you don't have much time, here are a few excerpts:
