Skywatch Friday

Note: Every SWF-picture published here is shot with my trusty Nokia N93 mobile phone and is unedited. For more Skywatch Friday photo's from around the globe, please check http://skyley.blogspot.com/

Just some random shots of Amsterdam, the city where I was born, where I live and where I intend to die. But not just yet. The little girl you see is my daughter, taken when we where in Vondelpark a few days ago. Oh, and apparently I accidently cut off the head of some tourist. Can you find his head?

Bedankt voor je comment. De derde foto ken ik. Is dat niet het Kolkje? Mooie foto's. En leuk dochtertje!

Goed gezien, Reader Will!

Came via Skywatch Friday, Congrats!!!!!

Do you travel both by boat and car?

Lovely photos. The one where you missed taking your aparttment, those low rise ones by the canal, do people live in them?

Your photos of urban architecture against the backdrop of the sky are awesome - a nice introduction for me to your city. Your child is adorable, of course! I really like the canal shot and the pink reflection in the water - very nice!

Hi Terrance, My husband and I were in your lovely city last May, and probably walked right past your apartment. We hope to visit again next year.

Lovely shots of Amsterdam and sky. I particularly like the canal one and your daughter. CUTE! You have a good eye to get such good shots from a cell phone.

Your feature photo of the canal is lovely with the evening light reflected in it.
Thanks for your shots of your home town. I know the city centre reasonably well and it was nice to be reminded.
