Skywatch Friday

It's not always sunny in Amsterdam...

Recognize these? Published photo's with this building in it before. From a distance it looks like two buildings and although known as "the piramids" they were shaped after the christmas-tree in the architects office, the city's newest appartment-building:

Amsterdam's oldest still standing appartment-building you see here (but not much sky on that gloomy day, I'm afraid):

Working the streets...well...four of the guys in orange are having a sigaret-break whilst two others actually seem to be working...;-)

Expensive appartments straight accross from my home. See the sharp corner? It's an extra square metre they let people pay for but there's barely enough space to place a plant:

Note: Every SWF-picture published here is shot with my trusty Nokia N93 mobile phone and is unedited. For more Skywatch Friday photo's from around the globe, please check http://skyley.blogspot.com/

De lucht boven Amsterdam wordt steeds wat mooier in deze serie, dat zal de komende dagen wel weer anders zijn, vrees ik ...
Maak er een mooi weekend van!

I like the non-sunny picture with the wet street, soft lights and glowing neon.

Interesting shots from your town. You do have an amazing camera in your mobile but I guess some of it comes from the man behind :-)
