Equilibrium (a poem)

Just by looking at her
he could feel the effort it took
to make it seem undemanding.
Every part of her beautiful body,
from her slender fingers to her toes
in the shadows,
was aiding in the act.

Was she helping the tree
or was the tree helping her
find the right balance
between love for movement
and staying firmly grounded?

He might never obtain the knowledge
but knew it didn't matter
for as long as she moved
his body and soul
would be in equilibrium.
