Protect the children!

A few children died because of lawn darts and Kinder Surpirse Eggs. So those children's toys got banned. Smuggling a chocolate egg into the USA is punishable by a $2,500 fine. Per egg.
The ban on lawn darts and Kinder Eggs was implemented without any fuss or any politician crying it was absurd. Because not a single US politician had shares in the companies that produced and sold them.

Now you know why other stuff that kills children won't get banned.

Since the US government banned the sale of laws darts in 1988, not a single child died from the deadly stuff.

Despite people screaming "Yeah, but criminals will get their hands on them anyway!" and "It's not the lawn dart that kills but the thrower!"

Do you think a government should ban something if it could kill children? Except for cars and guns?
